Online CPD System
In January 2011 the APodC’s online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) syste
m was unveiled. The new system will provide Podiatrists with an opportunity to access online education at a minimal cost to members of APodA Tasmania after an initial 6 month period of free access. Non-members of APodA Tasmania will not be excluded from accessing the system, with non-member fees available.
The role of online education has grown significantly in recent years, with ever expanding options available to health professionals. The APodC CPD system has been developed to comply with the recently established Podiatry Board of Australia CPD guidelines. The addition of online education ensures that Tasmanian Podiatrists are provided with comprehensive education options, regardless of their geographical location.
The APodA Tasmania encourages all members and non-members to browse the browse and register for the new CPD system. The system will be available through the Continuing Education link, located within the header of the APodA Tasmania website.
