AHPRA Announce Online Access to Practitioner Registers
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency has announced the availability of an on
line register of practitioners, allowing health practitioners to be searched, disclosing their registration status and details.
The register is based on data from state and territory registers that existed prior to July 1 2010. Registrants who are concerned that their information is not up to date, and have not already alerted the agency of their, can report this by using an online form. Members of the public or employers who have concerns about the registration status of an individual health practitioner should contact the AHPRA Enquires and Contact Centre on 1300 419 495.
