Podiatrists are primary contact health professionals specialising in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders of the foot and the lower limb. The Podiatrist's scope of practice includes areas such as paediatrics, diabetes, sports injuries, structural problems, the treatment of the elderly as well as general foot care.
The final program for the September 18th Venous Disease seminar has b
een announced. The two key speakers, Dr Andrew Stirling and Juliet Scott will conduct a mixture of theory and practical sessions to provide participants with a comprehensive update of venous system assessment, prevention and management skills and knowledge.
In response to feedback from previous conferences, the 2011 Australasian Podiatry Conference w
ill incorporate more 'hands-on' practical workshops for delegates.
